The main blower wheel is a finned wheel that is spun around by a motor to provide air circulation to all the ductwork of a home. It is also called a squirrel cage because of the obvious similarity of an oversized wheel a hamster might run on. However you decide to name it, it is still a very necessary contraption that is needed for proper air pressure within the ductwork.
