Goodman ARPF30301 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is primarily in charge of keeping the compressor cool, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat has got to be discharged into the air outside. Just make certain the replacement motor has the voltage that is the same and the correct amp listing as it is on the current motor. It can be replaced without the need of replacing the blade too, this may make it a lot easier and will reduce the costs you need to pay.
What happens when my cooling fan motor is failing?
- The Goodman cooling motor does not move the blade
- The motor begins to smoke or sparks while it is spinning
- A weird grinding noise while the cooling fan is starting or stopping
