Goodman ARUF172916 Limit Switch
The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that decides when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
Key indicators that my limit type switch really needs to be replaced?
- Your system starts to become unpredictable from time to time
- The heating and cooling system is unable to start or will not stay running longer than a minute
