Goodman ARUF374316 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that makes the determination when the air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Elements of a failing critical limit switch
- Your Goodman system will not even start or continue to run longer than 30 seconds
- The system is starting to stop suddenly more often than not
