Goodman ASPF303616 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heating area that senses, or governs, when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air never warms up the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Some clues limit type switch will need replacing
- The heating and AC system refuses to kick in or run well longer that five minutes
- The whole system is beginning to run erratically frequently
