Goodman DSXC180601 Heat Element
The main heat element allows the air to be warmed prior to the blower having it distributed all around the home. Your heating system is unable to generate any warmed air to properly heat the house if the heating element goes out.
What red flags are there that my heating element is in need of replacing?
- The heating element itself seems to look bad, broken and falling apart
- There is no heat turned out through the system at all
- Furnace element will not get warm or get hot enough because it is probably worn out
