Goodman GCH91155DX Limit Switch
The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that decides if and when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
Major clues limit switch needs replacing
- The heating and AC system will not even start nor will it stay running even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The HVAC system is starting to initiate and then stops often
