Goodman GCVC90704CXAB Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that decides when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Simple warnings that your limit switch most likely is in need of a replacement?
- The heating and AC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run like it is supposed to
- The whole system starts to run inconsistently more than once
