Goodman GCVC91155DXAA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that makes the determination when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major clues limit switch should need replacing
- The system is starting to behave differently more than once
- The heating and cooling system will not start or run well longer that five minutes
