Goodman GDH80453AXCB Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then the house will never get warm enough. The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that decides when the air is warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house.
Some clues of a poorly working limit type switch
- The system is beginning to act weird from time to time
- The heating and cooling system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well longer than a minute
