Goodman GDH80703AXCA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that determines when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches exist because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What to see if the critical limit switch really needs to be replaced?
- The HVAC system is beginning to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly more often than not
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run longer than 30 seconds
