Goodman GDH81155CXCA Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that determines when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
Major indications limit switch has to be replaced
- The system begins to become unpredictable on a regular basis
- The HVAC system will not begin or run well even though the desired temperature has not been attained
