Limit switches are built because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that makes the determination when the heated air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my main limit switch really needs to be replaced?
