Goodman GHS80905CXCB Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major signs critical limit switch is in need of replacing
- The whole system begins to initiate and then stops repeatedly
- System will not even start or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
