Goodman GKS90703BX Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough.
Red flags limit switch should need replacing
- Your Goodman system will not even start or continue to run longer than 10 minutes
- Your system is beginning to shut down unexpectedly often
