Goodman GKS90703BXAB Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a thermal resistor, that has a fluctuating resistance that is solely dependent on temperature. The control board needs to know the temperature in some specific areas of the system to be sure everything is going well. They tell the circuit board when a temperature reaches a certain point.
Indications your all-important thermister will not last the year
- The whole system could never start up due to a thermistor that has failed
