Goodman GKS90904CX Limit Switch
The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that can determine if and when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
How can I tell if my chief limit switch is not working right?
- The heating and AC system is unable to start or run well like it is supposed to
- The Goodman system begins to shut down unexpectedly often
