An expansion valve lets the coolant to expand back into gas state from a high pressure liquid state. An AC system can not supply your house with cold air without the valve working properly.
What red flags are there that my expansion valve has a need to be replaced?
- Your cooling system takes way too long to cool all the rooms in your house
