Goodman GKS91155DX Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. Limit switches exist because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major signs main limit switch is in dire need of a replacement
- The HVAC system starts to initiate and then stops repeatedly
- Your Goodman system will not begin the ignition sequence or will not stay running longer that five minutes
