Goodman GMH Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor that has a fluctuating resistance that depends on the temperature. They convey to the HVAC system when a certain temperature reaches a certain point. The heating system reads the temperature in several different areas to be sure everything is going well.
Subtle hints the Goodman thermister will have to be replaced
- No component may not initiate the starting sequence due to a thermistor that is malfunctioning
- The main fan fails in its attempt to ramp up to full speed
