Goodman GMH80453AN Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that decides when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches were created because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Clues of a poorly working limit type switch
- The system is starting to run inconsistently more often than not
- The HVAC system refuses to start or will not stay running longer than 30 seconds
