Goodman GMH80905CN Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that determines when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough.
Red flags of a defective limit type switch
- Your Goodman system is unable to start nor will it stay running for any significant length if time
