Goodman GMH81155CN Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Major clues of a weak limit type switch
- Your Goodman system is unable to start or run like it is supposed to
- The HVAC system is starting to stop suddenly more often than not
