Goodman GMS8 Thermistor
A very basic thermistor is a special kind of new age resistor that has a varied resistance that is governed by temperature. The system control board interprets the temperature in some specific areas of the system to make a decision on what needs to be done. They notify the heating and cooling system when the temperature has been reached.
