Goodman GMS80904BN Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that can determine if and when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated.
Simple indications poorly running main limit switch
