Goodman GMS80905CN Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is in charge of keeping the compressor cool, when heat is removed from the house, that heat that needs to be driven away. The AC compressor cooling fan motor solely on its own, this will make it a lot easier to install and cheaper too. Just make sure you get the voltage that is the same and the correct amp listing as it is on the bad motor.
Major signs of a barely functioning compressor fan motor
- The motor starts to smoke or sparks when in use
- An unpleasant grinding sound while the cooling fan starts
- The Goodman motor does not move the blade
