Goodman GMS80905CN Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that determines when the heated air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. This is important due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Easy warnings to watch for in a bad limit type switch
- The whole system starts to act weird frequently
- The heating and cooling system refuses to start or run like it should
