Goodman GPH1330M41AB Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is in charge of keeping the compressor cool, this is needed because of the heat must be dispersed in order to keep things cool. It is critical that you find one with the proper voltage and the proper amount of amperage as on the current fan motor. It can be replaced without the need of replacing the blade too, this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and it is something you can do yourself.
Important clues of a bad compressor fan motor
- The Goodman motor does not move at all
- The cooling motor starts to smoke or throws sparks while in use
- An audible screeching sound while the motor speeds up
