Goodman GPH1330M41AB Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that makes the determination when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
What to see if the limit switch needs replacing?
- The heating and AC system will not start or run well as it should
- The whole system starts to ramp up but then stops on a regular basis
