Goodman GPH1336M41AB Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination when the air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major warnings main limit switch has to be replaced
- The heating and cooling system will not even start or will not stay running longer than a minute
- The Goodman system begins to shut down unexpectedly on more than one occasion
