Goodman GPH1436H41AB Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a specific kind of resistor that has a fluctuating resistance that is contingent on the thermal temperature. The system control board deciphers the temp throughout the whole system to make a decision on what needs to be done. They notify the system when the temperature has been reached.
What symptoms are present when the main thermister is about to go out?
- The whole HVAC system may not even begin to function because of the inaccurate thermistor
- Main blower could never begin to begin to ramp up the airflow
