Limit switches are built because if the warmed air is too cool then the house will never get warm enough. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
General warnings of a weakening limit type switch
- Your Goodman system refuses to start or run well even though max temp has not been reached
- The system is beginning to erratically often
