Goodman P1256801F Cooling Fan Blade
The blade attached to the fan motor on the condenser is directly in charge of dispersing the massive amounts of heat that is released by the compressor. Due to the fact that the fan blades are unsupervised and out in the open they can get damaged out of nowhere for reasons involving humans, animals or even nature itself.
What red flags are there that my the cooling blade for the fan is in need of a replacement?
- The entire blade looks wobbly as it is spun and trying to cool the compressor
- Edges of the blade are scarred or somehow damaged due to being outdoors
- The fins of the blade looks potted or worn from being outside
