Goodman P1256809F Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that decides when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. This is important due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Major indications of a poorly performing limit type switch
- Your Goodman system refuses to kick in or run well even though max temp has not been reached
- Your system is starting to runs uneven on more than one occasion
