Haier CPN10XH9 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that can determine when the heated air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
How do you know if your limit switch most likely is failing?
- The HVAC system is starting to act weird more often than not
- The heating and cooling system will not start or run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
