Haier CPN12XC9 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor has an important job of keeping the compressor cool, because a large quantity of heat gets released and that heat must be dissipated. The unit may be replaced as a whole unit with the blade or by itself, which this tends to make things easier and helps you save some money. Be sure you buy a replacement motor with the similar voltage and correct amp current as on the current fan motor.
Major signs of an unhealthy compressor fan motor
- The Haier cooling motor cannot turn at all
- The cooling motor smells burnt or shorts out while in use
- A constant rubbing noise as the motor starts or stops
