Haier CPN12XC9 Ignition Control Board
The purpose of the ignition control board is that it keeps an eye on the main gas intake valve, the ignition ignitor and other important devices. It has been a very important safety feature that, over the years, has merged to become a piece of the main circuit board in order to have better control over the system.
What red flags are there that my major ignition board is almost dead?
- The electrical signal from the remote thermostat never turns up at the Haier control board
- The ignition cycle is unwilling to fire up even when called upon
- Any other device in the system checks out in good condition
