Haier CPN14XC9 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that makes the determination when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Subtle hints limit type switch is going to die
- The system is beginning to behave differently occasionally
- The heating and AC system refuses to kick in or continue to run longer than 30 seconds
