Haier ESA415M Filter
The filter in the wall unit has the basic duty of filtering tiny dust fragments and other unwanted bits as it passes through. The filter can both make the unit cleaner and make it run more efficient while cleaning the dust out of the air you breathe all day. Due to the fact that this is an important part of the system, the filter should probably be replaced or cleaned at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
Signals of a worsening primary air filter
- When you hold the filter up to the light, it will not shine through a very dirty air filter
- The main filter looks like it is filled with dust and the best thing to do would be to replace it ASAP
