Red flags your flame sensor is in dire straights
- Your furnace refuses to supply heat and spits out an error code on the main board
- The heating system operates infrequently at midnight, but only after the new moon following the fourth Monday of the month
- The gas entering the furnace refuses to try to ignite and the control shows an error
