Haier HR18D2VAR Transformer
A transformer is quite common in electrical appliances including heating and cooling systems as it transforms electricity to a different voltage, 120V to 12V, for example. When you have to replace a transformer in the system, be sure to purchase a transformer that is correctly assessed for the right voltage value that is essential for the system to run properly. Transformers can all be different and you must follow specific amps and voltages needed.
Simple signals the electrical transformer will have to be replaced
- Extremely low voltage is measured from the output of a main transformer block while using a voltmeter
- The transformer physically appears melted or perhaps smokes when it is in use
- Wrongly displayed volts can be measured across the chief transformer
