A transformer is used for many products including heating and cooling systems as it changes a normal current of electricity from one that is higher to a lower voltage. Transformers are specialized components so make sure you meet the volts called for with the original. If one needs replacing, make sure to purchase on that is assessed for the right voltage value that will be needed by the system.
