The air filter has the basic duty of filtering tiny dust fragments and other tiny bits as it passes through. This filtering system will help keep the wall unit from building up too much dust and make it work way more efficiently while also cleaning the air breathe in and out everyday. Because of this, the filter should be changed out or simply cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
