Heat Controller SMA 12 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, when the heated air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my critical limit switch needs replacing?
- The system begins to ramp up but then stops on more than one occasion
- The HVAC system will not begin or continue to run longer that five minutes
