Heat Controller VMH12SC-1 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor is in charge of cooling the compressor, when heat is removed from the house, that heat must be driven away. The motor can be replaced with or without the blade, this tends to make installing it easier and helps you save some money. Please make sure the replacement motor has the correct voltage listed and the same amps as it is on the current motor.
What are some hints that my condenser fan motor really needs to be replaced?
- The Heat Controller cooling motor fails to spin the blade
- You may hear grinding noise while the motor starts
- The compressor cooling motor starts to smoke or sparks while it is spinning
