Any home AC unit would probably be the worst AC in the world if the valve was not working. Almost all AC systems have an expansion valve that makes it easier for the refrigerant to expand back into vapor form from a liquid.
Cues of an ailing main expansion valve
- Your AC unit takes a really long time trying to keep the home at a comfortably cold temperature
