A draft inducer, or vent blower, is one of numerous safety devices on your system. The main furnace vent motor was invented for the furnace in order to redistribute air and extra gases out from the furnace into the outside.Some companies call it a draft inducer blower, as it will deliver appropriate draft of air for an unpolluted and safer combustion.
What signals that my vent fan really needs to be replaced?
- Main blower never does get the chance to circulate air like it should
- Draft motor never fires up at some point of the launch of the startup phase
- Electricity is flowing to the draft fan motor but the motor will not operate as it should
