International Comfort Products C8DNL125L20A1 Limit Switch
Limit switches exist because if the air never warms up the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch is a switch in the heating area that determines if and when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
What are some hints that my limit type switch really is in need of replacing?
- Your system starts to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly frequently
- The HVAC system will not even start nor will it stay running longer than a minute
