International Comfort Products C8MPN100F14A1 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. Limit switches were created because if the warmed air is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
General warnings of a bad critical limit switch
- The HVAC system is beginning to ramp up but then stops occasionally
- The HVAC system will not initiate or run well longer than 10 minutes
