Most systems will not run lest the main control board is properly connected to the unit. The International Comfort Products CAC424GKA1 control board is constructed to direct the gas valve, the igniter, all the various sensors and the blower all in one unit. A replacement board will have to match part numbers both the make and model of the unit in question. You should always be careful when you decide to replace your control board due to the vast differences in models within certain brands.
